Emma Elkinson, Eimear Reidy and Anne Savelainen present a vivid and enticing medley of 17th and 18th century music. A fine finale to our ninth festival.
The music of Irish harpist and composer Turlough O’Carolan combines his received heritage of the long lineage of Irish harp music with continental influences of Geminiani and Handel in a distinctive style. O’Carolan mixes with the fine company of Froberger, Telemann and Bach in the closing concert to this year’s festival.
