The Hibernian Muse present an evening of Irish music from the 18th Century.

Stories and anecdotes from the life and times Ireland’s great bard Turlough O’Carolan provide the setting for this unmissable evening, which will place some of O’Carolan’s best known music alongside some of the most celebrated Irish tunes, such as the Coulin and Eileen Aroon.

This concert, in association with East Cork Early Music and CIT Cork School of Music, is presented by Irish Early Music ensemble The Hibernian Muse, who are dedicated to the performance of 18th Century Irish music. They consist of Emma Elkinson (baroque flute), Anna Savelainen (harpsichord) and Eimear Reidy (baroque cello).
